Letter from Mr.Ronald Fream and David Dale - Golfplan Company
Letter No. 2:

Dated Wednesday, Sept.28th, 2005

The photos of the islands look very good. We need enough size of an island to put 9 or 18 hotels on, allowing for retaining ridges, hilltops or other rock outcrops. A nice cove or half moon beachs adds interest. Golf can play to a hillock, walk-around or over a low ridge and play on. The larger islands offer more space to wind golf around hills or special areas. Sites of 125-250 ha begin to appear better to have ample room to wonder the golf

One Island - one Resort sounds goood. One resort can be several different cost points for hotel rooms. Two to three hundred rooms could be maximum to avoid crowding. In some situations great island setting - only 9 hotel, 50 ha or so can be done to play as 18 distinct hotels. Then two styles of hotel with total of 150 rooms or so is total. Low density, high quality and golf even if 9/18 compact course on 40 or 50 ha can draw sophisticated visistors. I would design rooms to offer some feel of five-star but others at three-star price range.

...We can prepare very illustrative "master plan" of land use and golf to compliment architectural input. This form of document can go to potential investors...golf and a hotel could be on one island and another hotel, spa, scuba could be on a nearby island. Maybe only golf 9 or 18 hotels and thatch roof clubhouse on one island. The hotel facilities, staff, back of house all on another nearby island.

You have a unique opportunity if you can control and nicely exploit several of these island. You need to pick the most exotic, picturesque, accessible, usable properties. Two, three or four adjacent islands can blend into one resort.

...These or four islands, 5 to 15 minutes' boat ride apart, could work nicely. One or two almost adjacent islands will do well too. Calm water is important. Good nature on the islands is also very important...
